Ginger & Soy Cedar Plank Salmon

Shopping List:

340g salmon
1/4 Cup Ginger & Soy Marinade, Use your favourite
Cracked Pepper
Chives, Chopped

1 Cedarworks Cedar Plank
Instant Read Thermometer

Method:

• Remove the salmon from its packaging and pat dry using a paper towel.

• Remove any pin bones if necessary, then place the salmon into a vac steel bag or container.

• Pour your chosen marinade over the salmon, then seal and refrigerate for a minimum of an hour.

• Place the Cedar plank into a bucket of water and soak for roughly 20-30minutes. For this cook I used the 200mm board.

• Preheat the BBQ to 180C (350F), then remove the salmon from its marinade and pat any excess off with a paper towel. The marinade I used had enough salt so I seasoned with just cracked pepper.

• Place the salmon into the preheated BBQ for 30 minutes or until reaching and internal temp of 60C (135F).

• Brush the salmon with a small amount of sauce, then garnish with chopped chives.
