In 2025, Pro Smoke BBQ took over the brand Hot Smoked (established in rural Devon in 2009) and joined forces with Cedar Works to share a common passion for outdoor cooking. This partnership brings their brand of Hot Smoked’ award-winning woodchips to a wider audience, helping everyone from weekend BBQ cooks to chefs and artisan producers experience the flavour and craft of cooking with real wood.
Cedar Works and Pro Smoke BBQ are a natural fit, with shared stories and values that align. Where Warren and Jenny’s love of cooking on their Weber BBQ led them to discover the age-old method of using cedar planks to grill and smoke salmon, using a simple BBQ, they discovered how wood smoke transforms flavour and texture, creating remarkable hot smoked dishes.
